It is great to gather as the church. But we are also told by Jesus to “go” as the church, sharing God’s word with others and making them disciples. Fulfilling the Great Commission is not an option or a suggestion. It is a command to each of us as believers to actively and intentionally seek opportunities to influence people to find and follow Jesus.

In what ways have you been prepared to make disciples? Think about those who have helped to make you a disciple. What did they say or do that you can now use to make disciples?

How confident are you in your ability to make disciples? Has anything ever caused you to doubt your ability to make disciples? How did you respond?

How can/has making disciples strengthened your relationship with Jesus? How can/has it impacted your relationships with others? How can/has it impacted your overall involvement with the church?

How comforting and encouraging is it to know that Jesus is “with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20) as you go and make disciples?

Considering your next steps, are there any immediate opportunities available for you to go and make disciples? Is there someone you know personally that you can begin disciplining?
