Ready.  Set. Go!!  Some of the writers of the New Testament talk a lot about running the race set before us (Hebrews 12:1) and finishing strong (2 Timothy 4:7).  But in order to run, we must be ready to run.  We must train and discipline our bodies to compete the distance marked out for us. This week we hear a teaching on being Ready. But being ready to take your life in a new direction means voluntarily submitting to God’s control.  If you are at that place, great, but be careful!  This is a marathon, so take it easy.  Seek guidance and accountability.  If you are new to CR, watch and listen with an open heart and mind.  And remember, because this is a long race, don’t try and sprint from the start.
