God’s love

for us is a

gift.

God’s love for us is a gift. It’s not something we could ever earn. It isn’t based on anything WE’VE done. It’s all about what HE’S done for us!  This is why God sent Jesus. This is why Jesus died on the cross. When we put our faith in Jesus as our Savior, we believe that He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. Because of what Jesus did, we know that God FORGIVES us for all the wrong things we’ve done and will do. Jesus paid for our sin and made us right with God. And that is a free gift. When we do good things, we aren’t doing those things to EARN God’s love. We’re doing them because we already KNOW how much He loves us—and we want to share His love with others.
