Kids Experience – May 23

God has given us the chance to talk about what we believe.

This week we hear about how when asked, Peter tells others that Jesus is the Messiah.  We can talk with our friends and family about what it means to follow God. We can ask questions when there’s something we don’t understand. As we do, we’ll get to know God better and we’ll grow stronger in our relationship with Him.  God has given us the gift of other people—people who love Him and want to talk about Him. And there are also people in our lives who DON’T yet know how much God loves them. God has given us the chance to talk about what we believe, so we can encourage each other and help each other grow closer to God every day.
Jesus asked questions to help His friends understand Who He really is. And Peter had the courage to share what He really believed: that Jesus is the Son of God.
