The Holy Spirit in Your Life
In the Bible, we read Jesus promising to send the Holy Spirit to his disciples after He is gone. As believers in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is also with us, living inside of us, just as Jesus promised. The question is, why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to be with us? What does it mean to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit? This week we’ll begin a discussion about living with the Holy Spirit in our lives.
God the Father and Jesus Christ, His Son, are often depicted in cartoons and movies. God is usually depicted as an old man with a long beard; while Jesus is shown as a young man with long hair. Have you ever noticed that the Holy Spirit is never missing any representation? Why do you think that is?
Read John 16:7. Why does Jesus say it is better that He goes away and the Holy Spirit comes?
Read John 14:26. What are the things the Holy Spirit teaches and reminds us of?
Has there ever been a time when you’ve shared your faith with another person? What was that experience like?
Has there ever been a time when you felt the Holy Spirit reminded you about a particular scripture about Jesus when sharing your faith?
Have you ever prayed to the Holy Spirit for help sharing your faith? What were the results of your prayers?

Confessing Your Sins
God’s redemptive plan for humanity involves the death of Jesus for the sins of everyone. But we enjoy God’s forgiveness only when we believe what Jesus did for us. Have you noticed, even Christians still sin? Confessing or admitting our daily sin keeps our...
