Body of Christ
In part 5 of our 1 Corinthians study, we’ll look at Chapters 11- 13. Paul begins by praising the Corinthians for holding fast to the traditions that he handed over to them. Some of the topics Paul deals with include authority, unity, and spiritual gifts. These controversial topics continue to be a point of confusion and division for many Christians today, but Paul teaches a better way: love. It is the love of Christ that compels the body to work together, recognizing that there are differences in function for the many members. Yet, they are of one body.
