We can choose to be patient and remember how good God has been to us.

Today our K-5 friends hear about a time when the Israelites were “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing” and just gave up and built a Golden Calf (Exodus 32:1-35). Over and over and over, God had helped His people. He had rescued them from Egypt. He had led them through the wilderness and given them everything they needed. But when the people had to wait, they couldn’t do it! They were impatient. They forgot what was true. They forgot about how GOOD God had been to them all along the way. They chose their OWN way instead of God’s way . . . and they had to face the consequences. We can make a better choice than they did. We can remember what’s true. We can trust God no matter what. We can choose to be patient and remember how good God has been to us.
